A new step for Farweb: our WordPress agency in Brussels is now a member of FeWeb, the Belgian federation for digital professionals.
After more than 10 years of creating, developing, maintaining and improving WordPress websites, joining FeWeb felt like a natural next step for us.
FeWeb, the Belgian federation for digital professionals
FeWeb brings together agencies, freelancers and companies working across the different areas of the digital sector in Belgium.
Today, the federation has more than 500 members and aims to professionalise and bring together the digital sector across Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia.
For Farweb, joining this community gives us the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with other professionals facing the same challenges as we do: evolving technologies, security, accessibility, legislation, user experience, digital project management and the changing expectations of organisations.
More than 10 years dedicated to WordPress
While Farweb is joining FeWeb today, our experience in the web industry goes back much further.
For more than 10 years, we have been working with WordPress on a daily basis from Brussels. We support SMEs, associations, institutions and organisations in creating and developing their digital tools.
Corporate websites, content platforms, e-commerce websites, custom development, maintenance, security and WordPress support: over the years, our work has developed around a fairly simple idea: a website is a tool that needs to remain reliable, secure and able to evolve alongside the organisation using it.
This is also why we continue to train regularly, attend events such as WordCamps and exchange knowledge with other professionals in the sector.
Joining FeWeb is part of that same approach.

Being a FeWeb member is not simply about adding another logo to our website.

What does this mean for our clients?
In practice, we will of course continue doing what we already do: creating WordPress websites, maintaining them, providing support and helping our clients develop their websites over the long term.
But being part of FeWeb gives us access to additional resources and professional exchanges. The web is constantly evolving. Tools change, but so do legal requirements, security and accessibility practices, data protection rules and user expectations.
Being able to compare our practices with those of other professionals and access specialised resources directly contributes to improving the quality of the support we provide to our clients.
Remaining an active part of the Belgian WordPress and digital ecosystem
Farweb remains first and foremost a WordPress agency based in Brussels.
But a web project is never limited to WordPress alone.
It also involves design, user experience, SEO, accessibility, security, data protection, content and sometimes the organisation’s internal processes.
